RICHARD VALLE
CANDIDATE-KINGS COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS DISTRICT 2

Born and raised in Corcoran, California Richard attended local schools and graduated from Corcoran High School in 1988.  In May of 1990, Richard followed his family’s tradition of service in the military by enlisting in the United States Marine Corps.  Richard received an Honorable Discharge in May of 1996.

Upon his discharge he decided to return to Corcoran and he enrolled in San Joaquin Valley College in Visalia. He graduated in 2002 receiving an Associate of Science degree in Human Resource Administration. After completing that degree, his desire was to remain where he was raised, Corcoran. In February of 2003 he was hired as a Field Representative for then newly elected Assemblywoman Nicole Parra.   His responsiveness to constituents and hard work was recognized by Assemblywoman Parra and received a promotion where he now serves as the District Director.

Richard has worked with constituents, leadership and community organizations in the 30 th District on behalf of Assemblywoman Parra. Because of that work he has cut red-tape and helped to move past bureaucratic hurdles to provide better service for constituents. As District Director, Richard Valle serves the Assemblywoman as she represents portions of Fresno, Tulare and Kern County and all of Kings County.

Richard’s passion for Public Service has led him to pursue a seat on the Kings County Board of Supervisors – District 2. Richard’s focus will be on getting "Back to the Basics" of serving constituents and assisting them work through and interface with County Government.   District 2 includes the Cities of Corcoran and Avenal and the community of Kettleman City, as well as unincorporated parts of Kings County.
